Product update

Read any document in-app, put tasks on repeat, and see where your IU go

A busy week of releases that make everyday work quicker: viewing documents, repeating the tasks you run often, and keeping an eye on usage.

What's new

  • Read documents without leaving PlanOps. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files now open in a built-in viewer, page by page, with a page count shown on every preview - so you can check a deck or a spec without downloading it first.
  • Put your tasks on a schedule. Turn any completed task into a recurring run, and manage all of a project's scheduled tasks from a new Schedules tab. Dates in a task can now fill themselves in each time it runs.
  • See exactly where your Intelligence Units go. The usage view has been rebuilt with breakdowns by project and by person, a date-range filter, and a one-click CSV export for your own records.
  • Require two-factor sign-in across your organisation. Admins can now enforce two-factor authentication for everyone, with a guided setup so the right people stay protected without anyone being locked out.
  • Get told the moment a task finishes. Opt in when you set a task running and PlanOps will let you know as soon as it's done, so you needn't watch it.
  • More at a glance on documents and RAMS. Share a generated document or change its status straight from the documents list, see associated risks within a RAMS item, and act on AI recommendations directly from the dashboard.

Why it matters

Most of the friction in a working day is small and repeated: opening a file, re-running a job, checking what something cost. This release takes those moments out of your way - documents open where you already are, the tasks you run often look after themselves, and usage is there in plain sight whenever you need it.
